This is the beautiful unicorn head of the original SOOM Monthly Gem Heliot - God Master ball-jointed doll release from December 2008 (with the order period and doll being finished in 2009). It is in cream white skin with a clear resin horn. The head may have yellowed, but the color is completely even and "cream white" is still a good description of the color.

The head is not modified, but has had a faceup that's been removed. There is residue from eye putty and blue-tac that was used to hold the horn on the rough bottom of the horn and where the head holds the horn. There is a little bit of paint remaining deep in the lips and in the tear duct of the right (our left) eye.

On the left (our right) eye, there is a tiny bit of roughness or imperfection on the lower lid. The roughness in the center of the lid is negligible and was unnoticeable with a faceup, but could also easily be filed. Another spot closer to the outer corner cannot be felt, but has trapped a tiny dot of paint. This would also be unnoticeable with a faceup. These small imperfections are clearly visible in the photos.

Inside the head, the SOOM seal and Heliot's name are crisp and visible. There is some residue from eye putty, and residual color or stains from the faceup, inside the head.

The transparent resin horn has slight, even yellowing that is more apparent in photos than in real life. The airbrushed white at the base has some marks or rubbed-off spots, and one side of it has a sort of a vertical "line" in the gradient at the front, which you can see in the photos. I was too cautious to try to clean the horn because of the delicate paint.

This Heliot head was ordered by user Lady Vincira in a split with user Achsfan on the Den of Angels message board in 2009. Because it was a split and from many years ago, the CoA was left with Achsfan, but the head has been with Lady Vincira since then and there are no doubts about its authenticity.
