Vintage Woolrich 60/40 Mountain Parka MADE IN USA Blue Jacket TALON Zip Men's XL

Woolrich has been synonymous with quality outdoor clothing for over 180 years. Founded in 1830 by John Rich and Daniel McCormick, Woolrich is the oldest manufacturer of outdoor wear in the USA.

This vintage Woolrich 60/40 Mountain Parka features classic styling and typical high quality craftsmanship. The shell is made from the famed blend of 60/40 Cotton/Nylon, popularised in the 70’s as the most water-proof fabric of its time, before Gore-Tex. This version is fully lined with the top half being a wool blend fabric. I would date this jacket to approx the 80’s based on the label. Made in USA.

Used and in good vintage condition. There are some dark marks at the hem below the left bellow pocket and some to the right forearm but they cannot really be seen in the images due to the dark base. Still many years of wear left. Please see all pictures.

Size: XL with a 54" full external chest measurement, this is a generous fit designed to be worn over layers (please see below for all key measurements to check against a similar garment of your own to ensure a good fit).

Fabric: 60% Cotton, 40% Nylon (Outer); 85% Wool, 15% Nylon (Body Lining); 100% Nylon (Sleeve Lining).

- Two chest patch pockets with flap entry

- Two lower bellow patch pockets with flap entry

- Internal TALON zip pocket

- Drawstring hood and waist with leather disc lock

- Velcro adjustable cuffs

- Fully lined
