| | As a combined effort with CycloTricity (one of the UK's most prominent manufacturer of various electric bike systems), comes the Elysium Relay bike at incredible value for money! Exclusively distributed by Elysium Bikes, the Relay has been engineered with top in-house expertise in the UK. The motors are all individually hand-made and tested over and over again to ensure top performance and durability. Choosing our e-bikes means you will benefit from the following:
- Powerful brushless motor technology:
Despite its small size and light weight, the CycloTricity motor will give you the maximum power output allowed by the European Union, 250W to be precise. Likewise with speed, at 15.5mph, you are utilizing the maximum legal speed limit in the UK and EU. The motor is a purpose built freewheel design, which means there is no resistance loading the motor as it spins forward. In fact, whether you pedal it or coast on it freely, there still won't be any resistance regardless whether the motor is operating or disengaged. Unlike the crank drive, we've designed the system to be totally separate from the pedals.
- Advanced Lithium-ion Battery
Unlike the big and heavy batteries found on other e-bikes, all our batteries are based on new version of Samsung cell Lithium-Ion technology, much more reliable and offering incredible power to very low weight. Not to mention its stylish bottle-like looks. Each charge will last roughly 20-60 miles depending on which configuration you choose.

The e-bike looks and feels like a normal mountain bike, with the additional functionality that you have full control of how much effort you choose to exert. In addition, since this product is classified as a bike, you do not have to worry about all the red tape that comes with other motorised vehicles. No tax, license or insurance needed, and you can still use the usual cycling lanes!
- Easy to maintain
Aapart from the electrical spares (which can be obtained from us), all other parts are widely available at any local bike shop should there be a need for spare replacements.
- Cheap to run
Travelling on battery power is a lot cheaper than fuel. To illustrate, given that you swap your car for our electric bike for your 6-10mile journey to work, we estimate that the e-bike will pay for itself within the first year in fuel savings alone! Not only that, once you factor in tax, mot, insurance, repairs, parking fees, congestion charges etc, your return on investment is suddenly within a few months!
Specifications: - 250W brushless front hub motor (reaches maximum speed allowed by European law, i.e. 15.5mph)
- LED Dashboard controlling power output in low, medium or high modes.
- Speedometer on the LED dashboard (the only e-bike in this price category with such a function!)
- Thumb throttle - gradual thumb lever, the further it is pushed, the more power is provided. Meaning the bike can run without pedaling (this is an optional extra, please contact us to understand the legalities of adding such an option)
- Brakes: V-type. Electric breaks levers cut the power when applied.
- Battery Option 1: 36V/7Ah Samsung Lithium-ion bottle shaped battery (15-30 miles range between charges depending on terrain, weight of cyclists, frequency of stops/starts, air pressure in tires etc).
- Battery Option 2: 36V/11Ah Samsung Lithium-ion triangular shaped battery (25-40miles range between charges depending on terrain, weight of cyclists, frequency of stops/starts, air pressure in tires etc).
- Charger: UK plug charger with LED indicating level of charge (battery should be fully charged within 3-4 hours)

Please note that the eBike will arrive 90% assembled in the box. If you have assembled bikes before, then this should be straight forward for you. If not, any local bike shop can do it for you for a small fee (perhaps £10 or so). Gears and brakes may need to be adjusted.
