This is an almost brand new Roland R-05 with a like new protective case. It is flawless and in as new condition as it was when I took it out of the box Brand new. It has only been used a hand full of times and has never clipped. It has never been dropped or treated negligently. It has remained in the Roland case that I bought for it, from the time it was taken out of the box . The only time this recorder left it's protective case was to take The batteries out after each use, as I have never left it stored with batteries sitting in The compartment. This was to maintain a clean battery compartment with zero corrosion build up. The cased recorder itself has been stored in a foam lined electronics case that has also never been dropped and stays in a climate controlled room. This recorder is top of the line with all the bells and whistles . It was used as a voice recorder only, but it is also designed to record music and does so in studio grade quality. It produces crystal clear sound with tremendous definition to whatever the surrounding that is being recorded may be. Require 2 AA batteries (not included). You will get it in the original box, along with the accessories that originally came with it, as if you were buying one brand new. The only accessory that is not included is the quick start guide that im currently unable to find but will however continue looking and will include it if found. The good thing is, that it does still come with the complete owners manual and if im unable to find the quick start guide, its still an easy to operate device that has menu options that are not at all complicated to navigate ,in my opinion. The original box DOES have some minor wear because it was stored in a closet along with other items that were taken in and out of the closet, so it took a little abuse, however the recorder itself was never stored in its original box. In short, you are basically buying a "like brand new" Roland R-05 that comes with ALL of the same accessories( all except the quick start guide.
