This is a great little reliquary cross signed on reverse "ROMA ITALY".  It measures approx. 45 inches in length and the prayer beads look like little apple seeds with sturdy chain link attaching them.  The central pendant is Mother Mary.  The cross measures approx. 1 3/4th long by 1 inch wide.  The crucifix has a screw in the bottom that when opened is hinged to reveal a hidden compartment with the name of a saint.  It is a very early piece in very good vintage condition.  It comes in a little leather pouch that says "My Rosary" on it.  - A GREAT find!
