This extremely Choice Slaughter Mountain Fire Agate has been windowed to show the range of colors and potential. I barely proved the stone, instead of going deep and potentially ruining the colors. With the right tools and experience this stone holds the potential to yield a Very Extraordinary gemstone! It measures 1 1/4 × 1 × 1/2 inches and weighs 10.13 grams.
It is a favorite, being more rare. It can only be mined by members of the San Carlos Apache Nation. Still unfinished, this stone was pictured wet to show the potential. This is not a stone for beginners, I would suggest starting with commercial or mid grade before cutting this astounding gemstone. The saggenetic sprays are a beautiful and sought after pattern and considered particularly desirable in Slaughter Mountain material.
