CH-47 Chinook

Popular in the battlefield, the Chinook is both an attack and transport helicopter. Delivering, supplying & protecting troops since the early 1960's for over 15 nations. The CH-47 Chinook is a willing and very able addition to any battle group. I first saw a Chinook when I was working in North Queensland, Australia for a small aviation tour company. An RAAF Chinook landed at our airstrip to refuel and deliver FA-18 Hornet pilots to a training camp on a nearby island. I had the opportunity to look inside the Chinook and although I knew it was big, you really have to be inside one to appreciate its true size. It was very big and very intimidating... nice. The image I have used in my design is of U.S. Army soldiers preparing to hook an M777 Lightweight 155-mm Howitzer to the Chinook during an airlift mission at Forward Operating Base Fenty in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, on Dec. 20, 2007. Shirt details

Shirts are produced to order so we have all the sizes in all the colours illustrated. The design is applied at a resolution of between 300 and 800 dpi in proportion to the size of the shirt - the design on an extra small shirt is about 20% smaller than the design on an extra large shirt. The decorated shirts are completely colourfast and will not shrink. They are made of a high quality and highly technical wicking polyester. The two "Phenom" shirts are made of an expensive microfibre that has one of the fastest drying performance of any fabric available. These shirts make an excellent base layer in any multi layered clothing system but also make a great outer layer when things are warm.
