This is a vintage and great looking sterling ring
It is designed with a solid, polished Malachite oval snuggled into a custom sawtooth bezel which has twisted silver trim punctuated with a squash blossom style leaf and a raindrop. It is presented on a rounded split band.
This elegant ring is marked CT STERLING. This is the mark of Calvin Toddy, a Navajo artist featured on page 167 of the book HALLMARKS OF THE SOUTHWEST by Barton Wright, a well-respected authority and former museum curator. Calvin Todd is the son of Beatien Yazz, another talented Navajo artist.
We do guarantee it to be sterling silver as it has been tested. It is a perfect size 7.5. The face of the mounting is 3/4" long by 5/8" wide. It weighs 4.9 grams.
It is in very good to excellent condition. There is no damage found to the silver, outside of regular, gentle wear. This lovely ring does need a good cleaning, but we will leave that up to the new owner. This authentic, handmade ring has been has been worn and loved and will go nicely with your other silver jewelry.
