please read before bidding. ok here is the story. met an older lady at the senior center.  her husband died years ago. he had owned this car since the early 70's and parked it in a garage around 1992.  she finally was willing to part with it.  it is a true impala convertible ss.   run the vin numbers. the tag on the car matches the numbers on the title.  it has a good ohio title.   I got the car running.  it runs good, but the tranny slips. reverse is strong, but forward barely moves. she said he rebuilt the motor before he parked it. I took the intake off and i believe it.  clean as a whistle. the  front block numbers are T0607GL.   meaning a 65  283.  not original to the car, but it does have the double humped 202 heads.   frame is weak behind the rear axle. and will need repaired or replaced, floors are pretty good, usable. trunk is ok not perfect but workable. all glass is good. has about 90% of chrome/ trim.  front door post are great as well as firewall. seats are there, but need recovered. top works , bows are all there and in good shape, but needs new canvas. doors are good as well as front fenders.i believe this car is still in its original paint.  quarters are straight.  It will need lower quarters and rockers.  yes this car will need restored, but once done they are worth 50-60 grand. feel free to ask any questions or come look at it. this is a true collectable car worth the time to restore.  vin tag matches the title  and serial number starts with 41467***  thanks for looking and have a good day.
