Bplus PCIe M.2 SSD to USB 3.0 Adapter/Enclosure Use this enclosure / adapter to turn any 42/60/80mm AHCI PCIe M.2 SSD module (Key M or B+M) into an external USB 3.0 portable storage device. Small enough to fit in your pocket, this enclosure adapter is great for cloning your existing drive to a new one or, simply, making use of your old factory M.2 SSD drive after upgrading. With built-in support for DevSlp (Device Sleep mode), this enclosure will power down to use less than 10mA of power when the SSD is not in use, then get up and go at full UASP speeds on Windows 8 or other UASP compatible operating systems. Note: Optimum speeds will be obtained when plugged into a USB 3.0 port. This device is also backwards compatible, meaning it can be used in USB 2.0 ports at USB 2.0 transfer rates. Compatibility notice: This adapter is for AHCI PCIe M.2 SSD's only. This adapter does not support NVMe based drives. If you have a SATA based M.2 SSD like the Samsung PM851 M.2 or Crucial M550 M.2 SSD, then you'll need the alternative Bplus SATA M.2 to USB adapter / enclosure.
