Rare 19th Century French or German DAGGER with carved Ebony grip and Blued blade

Up for auction:

this nice looking French- or German DAGGER that has been manufactured during the 1860`s - 1880`s.

The dagger has a lovely carved ebony grip with turned details.

The ferrule is of Berlin silver and the cross-guard has been made of steel.

The four sided blade has blued finish and a sharp tip.

These type of daggers have been carried by ladies while travelling or "at work"...

The dagger has a nice "lady like" style.

The overall length is 200 mm (7.9 Inches) and the length of the blade is 100 mm (3.9 Inches).

Condition: the grip is in excellent conditin with only one minor crack.

The ferrule shows a tiny crack > the cross guard  and ferrule show some "play" and need to be tightened.

The blade has quite a lot of the blued finish and some small spots of oxidation (nothing serious).

Overall an excellent collectible dagger which will be offered with a starting bid of only $ 0.99.
