Each and every one is handcrafted professionally with care, by ME in my studio, since 1977.

I only use quilt quality cotton fabrics, cotton thread and cotton batting.
The towel base is 100% Cotton Terry Cloth.
Grosgrain Ribbon is 100% Polyester.
Velcro is used to complete the ease of securing your towels to your stove handle, fridge, cabinet drawers, backs of chairs.
I do detailed sewing to finish the look and each back is hand sewn. Each Hanging Kitchen Towel is packaged and ready for gift giving.

History on my Hanging Kitchen Oven Towels.
I have been making and selling these towels since 1977.
I first started out with, THIS TOWEL TOP DESIGN, that is MY OWN DESIGN THAT I CREATED, with fabric that went OVER THE HANDLE that was secured with a button and also made towels with this same DESIGN using Ribbons that tied. I then changed out the button for Velcro. I expanded on my design, by designing my towel design by adding a GROSGRAIN RIBBON, still using Velcro. I still sew towels with my design with buttons and ties.
When I first started sewing using ribbon ties and or buttons, way back in the '70's, I was not happy with the buttons breaking, or the narrow ties and having to keep on tying them, picking the towels off the floor. After a short time of making the towels with ties and buttons I realized what a problem they were with the ties tangling up, buttons breaking and frustration for some people who have issues with using their hands. Plus kitties and kids pulling them down. I went to my drafting table and troubleshooted the issue. I used my background in Special Education & Independent Living Skills, Sewing & Drafting and created my Hanging Kitchen Oven Towels with Velcro. The ease in using the Velcro Ribbon made it a lot easier and successful. I have also made the towels without the ribbon but still using Velcro and the same TOWEL TOP DESIGN. It only took one sample to come up with the pattern I have been using for well over 45 years. I have traveled and sold these in many crafts shows in many states. I also sell at church or school fundraisers, direct to stores and online stores. With the ease of the grosgrain ribbon attaching to the Velcro made these towels successful. With using Velcro the towels are more secure, kids and kitties can't pull them down.
It is interesting to see how many other people, Sellers, have literally copied my pattern, design and ideas, and are selling them without permission at shows and on line. My towels are often imitated, but the quality and craftsmanship is never quite duplicated!
