Pros:A Solid performer (for the most part)

Pros: This card works well, even though I am only an occasional gamer. When I bought the card, there were 0 reviews for it and looking back now, seems like hundreds of folks agreed that the card is a solid performer.

Cons: See other thoughts below (not sure who is at fault here, it might be the drivers for this graphics card for a widescreen monitor).

Other Thoughts: Only one issue with the card and still not sure if it's the card's drivers or Adobe or the Dell U2311H monitor or a combination of all 3. The OS (Windows XP-SP3) reverts back to generic drivers after using Adobe often with a Dell U2311H monitor. This did not happen while I was using a Viewsonic P95f+ CRT monitor.

5770 mining/gaming

Pros: -great price
-perfect for starcraft2
-get about 212Mhash/s with 960/300 oc/uc and phatk w/phoenix

Cons: -gets to 90c at full load, when overclocked, not the card's fault, I'm just trying to push it more, prob get a mugen and some AC5 to cool it off

Great card, awesome price!

Pros: Great card, got it on sale, lots cheaper than others with the same chip. Crysis2, Need for Speed Shift/Shift 2, and games like that run with no problems at all!!
Ensure you got plenty of air flow: runs a bit hot, but max threshhold is pretty high, from what I have read on the gaming threads.
Included software allows to control fan speed and card overclocking with ease! If playing demanding game, just set the fan to 100% and done!

Cons: Runs a bit hot, even with high-airflow case. Read in threads that the best solution, besides good air flow, is to remove plastic cover around the fan and replace the thermal paste with better quality. Did both. Worked like a charm. Down from 43C with minimum usage to 37-39C in a hot day.

Other Thoughts: I trust ASUS. I live overseas and I have used their warranty service. Even in another language, service was good and my equipment was repaired with no issues in 48 hours. Love them!

Great Crossfire Setup

Pros: Bought one of these 8 months ago and got another one 2 weeks ago. My motherboard only supports running at 16x 4x 2.0 crossfire and im still getting amazing performance:

GTA iv (Very high Dx10): 38-54fps
Crysis 2 Hardcore mode: 24-36fps
Furmark 1600x1200 res benchmark: 6411 (avg score)
Total war shogun 2 (DX11 shader 4.0 very high): 46-58fps
3d Mark Vantage Performance run: 17511 gpu score

75c was my max temp on both cards except furmark managed to get the temp to 78c.. Great cards i dont get what the negative reviews are about, My side fan blows any hot air produced by the cards back to the pci slots and out the back of the case. instead of insulting the design of the card maybe you guys should be more proactive with the cooling going on in your own computer case, be alittle more imaginative. put some more fans in.

Cons: Not a con really but it seems theres not alot of headroom in overclocking due to the memory chips being on the outside of the card and not under the heatsink. i managed to get 935mhz core and 1375mhz mem stable on both cards. Reran furmark and got a 7125 score which matches the HD 5870 and over 1200 points higher than the GTX 285. but i did hit 85C max temp on furmark with those overclocked settings.

Other Thoughts: My System:
Phenom II 1090t @ 3.5ghz
DDR3 2x2GB 1600mhz 8-8-8-21 CR-1
2x 640gb RAID 0
Antec 900 case

Excellent card

Pros: Excellent card. Can play anything i throw at it maxed out. Bad Company 2, Crysis 2, Black Ops, many others. bought this card close to 7 months ago and was waiting to write a review until i was sure i had tested it out fully and i feel i have now. Its an excellent card and i recommend it to everyone

Cons: It is going out of date. If your looking for a card that will continue to max everything out for this spectacular launch of fall games i would but a little nicer one as this card will most likely not be able to run Skyrim or Battlefield 3 maxed out over 35-40 frames per second. But if your looking for a decently priced card to run new games now maxed and new games coming out on high then this is perfect

Strong Showing

Pros: An excellent performer. I've had it for about 4 months, and there haven't been any problems with the card. I use MSI Afterburner to over/under-clock the card (3d/2d) to get just a bit more out of it. Overclocked to 899 MHz core and 1353 MHz memory clock. Didnt mess with the core much. It's a modest overclock, and the temps are fine (about 75 C 100% load on Crysis 2) in a poorly ventilated case. It could run it at max everything at 50-ish fps (1280-1024). Not bad at all....

Cons: Basically just CCC. Not very stable, or useful.

Other Thoughts: I got it on sale for about 120 bills, and it was a steal. For 145, I'd say it's a strong contender. I also play Two Worlds II (1920-1080) max details with hardly a hitch. Oblivion at same rez with max details is also the same, with 60+ indoors/dungeons, and about 45 low outdoors when looking pretty far into the distance with some action in the foreground.

I would suggest that anyone looking for a solid video card strongly consider this card. If it's on sale for $10+, I think you should buy yours before it's gone.
