ORIGINAL Victorian Hinks No.2 Duplex oil lamp - with decorative brass & enamel base
As found, in excellent original condition. comes with a spare glass 'chimney' . This has the 'duplex' twin wick system.
21.5 inches from base to top of glass chimney, 6.5 inch diameter base, 7 inch diameter etched glass globe, 13.5 inches from base to top of metalwork with glassware removed.
Lamps weighs approx. 3Kg - if buying for overseas shipment please bear in mind that this will be expensive to ship !!

Shipping / Postage
You are welcome to collect this item yourself from North East Suffolk or West London by arrangement. It is a heavy item with some fragile glass components so these will be shipped AT THE BUYERS OWN RISK as the courier companies will not cover glass items. Having said that, my packing is legendary (!!) and I have shipped similar items before with no problems. I would ship the glass components in a separate carton from the base to reduce the chance of breakage.
The postage price quoted in listing is for UK delivery by My Hermes 3-5 day signed for courier service. If you would like a different (faster Royal Mail or Courier) service or a price for Overseas delivery or multiple item postage then please contact me via Ebay messaging BEFORE PAYING ! I can then send you an invoice including the correct amount of postage.
Overseas buyers please do contact me for shipping/postage costs before buying as charges do vary on destination and service used. If no arrangement has been made prior to purchase I will expect international buyers to pay the ‘cost to me’ price of international shipping.
Please be aware that postage costs seem to be spiralling out of control at present and seem to be the biggest cause of disputes on EBay.
