VAT
We are VAT Registered and all sales include VAT at the prevailing UK Rate, currently at 17.5% A VAT invoice is issued for all sales
Damage in Transit
Please examine your purchases immediately you receive them, if we need to make a claim on your behalf for a damaged item we must do this within 48hrs of the item being delivered. Please also do not sign for goods as ‘unchecked’ report any suspected physical damage to the driver and ask him to make a note of it - this helps us to expedite any claim. Please report any damaged items to customerservices@xpsdirect.com
Compliance with the UK Distance Selling Regulations
NB: This only applies to UK customers.
All of our eBay 'buy it now' transactions are covered by this legislation. Any UK customer has the right to terminate a sale within 7 days of delivery - no explanation is required. Customers must inform us of this intention either by letter or email. Customers will be entitled to a full refund of the purchase price excluding delivery charges ( items with free delivery will be charged at £12.99 for refund purposes ). It is however the responsibility of the customer to arrange for the goods to be returned to us and it is the customer who must meet any associated expense.
14 Day Dead on Arrival (DOA) period.
If an item fails within 14 days of delivery, Xpsdirect will arrange for collection of the item then at our discretion offer either a refund, replacement or an alternative of the same or better specification. Xpsdirect will also arrange at our expense for the item to be returned. Subject to the following conditions:
- If an item is found not to be faulty and is in perfect working condition the cost of the collection and return must be met by the customer. Under no circumstances will an item be returned until the carriage has been paid for.
- If an item is not returned in the original packaging and subsequently is damaged in transit we will not be able to honour any warranty.
- Items must be returned using a traceable service, with a signature for delivery obtained.
- Items must have a valid RMA in order for them to be returned.
Items within warranty period but more than 28 days
All items are sold with a manufacturer direct warranty, should an item fail outside of the DOA period but within the warranty period it is the responsibility of the customer to contact the manufacturer and liaise with their technical support.
For Dell LCDS ring 0844 338 1200. You will need to quote the order number which is found on the white dell label on the box, as well as the serial number from the back of the LCD. Please note it is your responsibility to keep this order number safe, as we cannot guarantee that we will be able to provide this number again if lost
For Dell laptops and desktops, you need to ring Dell Technical support, the numbers are found on the Dell website. Please make sure you ring the number which corresponds to your appropriate model and have your service tag to hand in order to hasten your enquiry

Returns Procedure:

In order for us to process suspected faulty items efficiently we have a dedicated RMA policy. If you suspect an item is faulty and you need to return it please contact customerservices@xpsdirect.com who will advise you of the procedure you will need to follow |
