This Virago is a great example of the unique and creative ways One-Up Moto Garage shapes bikes and crosses genres. Originally a mid-level cruiser, this baby "V" now has a stance and feel much more akin to a dirt bike; partially because of the RM250 front end. A Yamaha Radian front wheel was fitted to achieve matching 16 x 2.5" mag rims that share the same meaty enduro tires. The baffled exhaust was hand crafted along with the entire powder coated sub frame and small "one-up" seat with the rising sun subtly stitched onto its face. Perforated metal gives the tail piece its shape. The old enduro gas tank has a high quality paint job and total capacity is just over 1 gal, so this isn't a touring bike, as it requires frequent fill ups (60 mile range or so). The AGM battery is tucked away in the back bone of the frame that was originally the air box, all the electrical components have been simplified, rewired, and hidden under the tank as well. The engine breaths through a single Mikuni VM34 round slide mounted to a custom 2-1 manifold and filtered via a foam UNI pod. This bike is not currently fitted with turn signals, horn or speedometer. Mechanically the bike has new clutch plates and stiffer heavy duty clutch springs, fresh valve adjustment and oil/ filter.

Some FAQ: Answered
~ The seat height isn't as tall as it looks in pics. I am 5'10" and 140lbs and I can easily flat foot while sitting on the seat and it is comfortable for me.
On cold days after a long ride you will feel some warmth radiating from the exhaust under the seat. But it doesn't heat the seat or the rider's pants/ butt like you may think from looking at it.
~ The bike handles very much like a dirt bike, upright riding position, feet are back further than a dirt bike. It is much more stable at high speeds than a dirt bike.
~ The bike starts easily even when cold at the current altitude (1,100ft) with just a little choke for a few seconds. Very crisp throttle response and power.
~ Starter button is in the center of the handlebars.
~ Keyed ignition is by the left side rearset, and is a two part ignition requiring toggle switch and key to both be on.
~ Bike utilizes an H4 headlight bulb and LED tail light.
~ Vapor gauge is not currently mounted, but can be included if requested and everything to hook it back up.
~ This bike can not take passengers
