Lovely example of this extraordinary amplifier . 25w pure class A Push-Pull design with the famous 'Manhatten Skyline' valve arrangement and Acrylic top plate.

This  model is in very good condition and comes with four Edicron 5881 output valves, three Golden Dragon ECC83's and two Mullard ECC88's

This, the best version with the legendary HINCHLEY transformers providing 4, 8 and 16 ohm taps that offer a stunning performance.

To complete an already impressive spec, the Series 500 possesses one of the best phono stages ever to grace an integrated amplifier below 3K ! Gold plated RCA's  for CD and PHONO inputs, pre -out, 2 tape record/play inputs plus Aux and Tuner. Tape monitor/Source - input selector - balance and volume control from the front panel.

Wide open soundstage with a full and weighty bottom end, wonderfully natural midrange and sweet detailed top.

 The acrylic top plate  has a clean hairline break vertically through the centre and has been carefully glued. Completed with four pins that secure the Acrylic top-plate in position
