Heavy Duty Adjustable Boost Pressure Switches Water methanol InjectionHeavy Duty Adjustable Boost Activation Switches
 
Included with our single, dual and triple stage systems is our heavy-duty adjustable boost switch. Machined from billet brass. The switch is tough and compact. Features include ability to be cycled over a million times, -20 to 250 degree F operating range, 3000 psi burst point, extremely accurate and repeatable within 3% of its set point. Our boost switches are the most accurate and reliable offered in the industry and can handle any amount of boost your engine can make. 
 
System activation is simple. Users are able to control when the system activates by adjusting the screw on the boost switch to your desired boost setting. We offer single and multiple stage systems to cover any requirements you may have. While single stage systems cover most customers requirements. Fully adjustable multiple stage systems allows for finer tuning allowing users to set individual injection points, progressively injecting more fluid as each stage is triggered. 
 
 
 Highest Performing Pump In The Industry
 
When everyone claims to have the best pump. How do you really know?  Compare our pump against the competitors and decide for yourself. Our pumps come preset at 220 psi, have an open flow of 1.3 GPM and max pressure of 300 psi all of which is listed on the manufactures label. Additional features include built in heat sink, built in reverse check valve, built in internal bypass valve with recirculating feature, zinc plated motor housing and stainless steel hardware. 
 
One of the most important features that separates our pump from the competitors pump is the large 3/8 NPT thread inlet and outlet ports versus the competitors smaller 1/4" push connect fittings which are built into the pump. While they we say having the fittings built into the pump is an added feature and advantage. It is not and only benefits them by not having to supply fittings and reduces cost. Additionally, if the fittings are ever to leak you will need to purchase a new pump rather than just replacing the fitting. Furthermore, it limits users to using smaller 1/4" tubing (.170" inside diameter) verse larger 3/8" tubing between the tank and the pump. Restricting the pump and its max output. By simply running larger hose from the tank to the pump. Our pumps outperform the competitors. 
 
 
 Bottom Sump And Baffled Tanks  
 
Two issues we ran into and discovered when using the commonly used generic universal tanks in this industry was the total lack of fluid control and the location of the tanks outlet port. As a result there was an inability to control fluid slosh when the fluid level lowered, keeping the tanks outlet port covered while the vehicle was in motion, pump cavitation and utilizing the tanks full capacity.
 
It was these issues that prompted us to design and manufacture our own tanks. We solved the issues by designing a bottom sump with overhead baffle into all of our round cylinder diesel tanks.  Heavy Duty Chrome Steel Tank Brackets

Our goal was to not only design a tank that functioned better than tanks commonly used by our competitors but also something customers could truly be proud to mount and see in the back of their trucks 

Included standard with all of our 8" diameter round tanks are heavy duty chrome steel tank brackets. Brackets are not fixed to one location. Users may slide the brackets along the tank to position and align them as they need for greater flexibility.   

Best Performing Nozzle In the Industry

Everyone claims to have the best nozzle. We prove it. The biggest single advantage our nozzles have over the competitors is the chamber machined at the tip. This chamber shrouds the orifice , shielding it from the high speed air passing over it. Allowing the spray pattern more time to fan out and atomize before entering into the air charge. Resulting in a wider spray pattern being delivered into the air charge for increased atomization.

 

 Pump Guard - Inline Filter

Inline pre-pump filters is something you won't find standard with most competitors systems. One of the keys to getting years of trouble free use out of your water methanol system is guarding the pump and filtering out any dirt and debris from passing through it. 

Included standard with everyone one of our diesel water methanol injection systems is a 50 micron inline filter. Filter comes with a removable stainless steel mesh screen which users can clean and reuse. Removable clear sight bowl also makes for easy inspection and servicing of filter. Another example proving the value and more added features in our systems than any other system on the market.

 

 Inline Check Valve 

Included standard with all of our water methanol injection systems is a heavy duty one-way check valve. Check valves are important for the following reasons.

  • Prevents unintended fluid flow in either direction when the system is not active 
  • Insures there is no delay in the system by keeping the line primed and full of fluid in between use
  • Important safety feature that prevents fluid from draining out of the tank and into engine while the system is not in use  

When comparing systems its important to point out that not all of our competitors include a one-way check valve with their system. We feel this is a basic and essential safety part that should come standard with every water methanol injection system and not something customers should have to pay additional for. 

 High Quality Hose Fittings 

Competitors claim to use the best quality hose fittings and plumping available yet supply you with plastic fittings or use fittings made in China. Your water methanol injection system is only as good as your fittings. If a fitting fails and begins leaking. Pressure will be lost in the line and the system will fail.

Included standard with all of our systems are authentic, made in Italy, brass nickle plated Camozzi fittings. Just another example of the quality we put into our systems when comparing and deciding which is the best water methanol injection system to spend your money on.  

Size Does Matter

Most are not aware using 1/4" tubing (.170" inside diameter) from the tank to the pump will restrict the pumps performance and limit its max output. While for many, those making less then 550 horsepower, this isn't an issue.  Diesel engines making over 550 horsepower and require more output from their pump should use large 3/8" tubing (.275" inside diameter) from the tank to the pump. 

We now offer our customers the option of choosing between 1/4" and 3/8" tubing on the inlet side of the pump. Another feature and detail you won't find with our competitors. 

 

 Low Level Sensor

Included standard with every diesel water methanol injection system is a low level sensor. Located on each end of our universal bottom sump 8" diameter round tanks is a recessed receptacle for mounting the low level sensor. The low level sensor lets users know when they have reached the halfway point. Included with the sensor is a small 3mm red LED light which users can mount on their dash.    

 

 LED Status Lights

Included standard with every diesel water methanol injection system is one red and green 3mm LED. Green light is used to indicate when the system is activated and the red LED is to be used with the low level sensor. These are individual panel mount LED's which allows users the liberty to discretely install them on their vehicles dash for a clean stealth look. Installation is as easy as drilling a .250" hole, feeding the wires through the hole until the LED is seated flush.

 

 Pump Weather Proofing Sleeve 

Over the years we've seen many unnecessary pump failures due to water/moisture entering the pumps motor housing and electronics. This problem occurs when the pump is mounted under or outside the vehicle and is exposed to the elements. As a result we now provide pump covers standard with all diesel water methanol injection systems. Something not included or available with the competitors systems. Another example of the many additional features and value you get when purchasing one of our systems.

 

 Bigger Is Better...For Current Flow

The primary factors that can limit the performance and output of a water methanol injection pump are, the size of the supply hose from the tank to the pump, the tank vent and the current delivery. A weak ground or insufficient wire gauge can limit the current to the pump. Resistance increases with length. We found when using 16 gauge wire we were losing nearly 1.5 volts at the pump. The longer the power wire the greater the wire gauge needs to be to avoid this.

Included standard with all of our water methanol injection systems is 20 ft of 12 gauge wire vs the competitors 16 gauge wire. 

30 Amp Bosch/Tyco Relays 

When designing our diesel water methanol injection system. It was imperative that our system was capable for running for long extended periods of time, 30-60+ minutes, without over heating and failing. To achieve this the use of heavy-duty relays and larger gauge wire was needed. Included standard with all of our diesel watermethanol injection systems are heavy-duty 30 amp genuine Tyco/Bosch relays.

 

 Sealant And Nozzle Tap Now Included

Sometimes it is the smallest things that can make an install go more smoothly. In an effort to bring more value to our systems, save our customers a few bucks, gas and a trip to the parts store. We now include a small tube of methanol compatible thread sealer and 1/8 -27 NPT tap (nozzle tap) in every water methanol injection we sell.

 

 
 
 Custom Stainless Steel Hoses Available
 
All AIS water methanol injection systems come standard with 1/4" black nylon hose and nickel plated brass push to connect hose fittings. Custom stainless steel hose assemblies are available upon request, to your exact specifications and require 3-4 days to manufacture. 
 
Our stainless steel hose utilize a .030" thick Teflon inner jacket, natural color stainless steel wire outer braid jacket, black anodized fittings, burst rating of 12,000 psi max, suggested operating pressure of 3,000 psi. Temperature range ranging from -100 degree to 500 degree's F. Available sizes -3, -4, -6, -8, -10, and -16.
