The Gift Watch is a successful Mail Order Company operating from Business Units in Greater Manchester. 
We are reputable, professional, business sellers - and we have been registered with Customs and Excise and VAT in connection with retail sales for more than 30 years. We have been trading on eBay for several years and have gained an excellent feedback rating via thousands of satisfied customers. 
We supply genuine products and branded items at affordable prices - sometimes less than half the price you would expect to pay on the High Street! WE WILL NEVER SELL FAKE ITEMS. This will always be one of the main thrusts of our Company policy. We also stock some exclusive, branded watches that you will not find anywhere else! Rest assured that we only ever buy from registered licensed manufacturers and official suppliers. We retain all purchase invoices so that we can always ensure (and prove) that all our items are genuine.  
Our watch guarantees are validated with our official stockist codes as we are authorised stockists.
We are proud of our fast and friendly, reliable customer service. We inspect all items before despatch, we pack professionally and we despatch securely via a Royal Mail Priority Business Collection Service. We also have a swift, hassle-free returns process in case an item is unsuitable. Our responses to your communications will reflect your statutory rights under current sales legislation.
There are no hidden charges in our transactions. VAT charges are already included in the price advertised. 
All our products are brand new and perfect, unless we state otherwise. We supply photographs and descriptions in good faith. If we have made a mistake, just let us know.

Our preferred method of payment is PayPal. (You can use all major credit cards via Paypal). 
Overseas buyers please pay by PayPal. (PayPal will work out the currency conversion for you). If you would like a price conversion to your currency before committing to buy an item, please go to www.xe.com 
Please pay within 7days of the auction end / sale date. 
A sales invoice/receipt will be included with each purchase. 
* Please let us know if you don't want a receipt to be included in your package.

POSTAGE

POSTAGE CHARGE REDUCTIONS
 * UK - Most of our items are sent free of postage charge, unless otherwise stated.
* OVERSEAS COMBINED POSTAGE DEAL - Pay the full postage charge for one item and then you will only pay a £1 postage and package charge for the second and subsequent items (which can be posted at the same time). Simply commit to buy each item you require, or add them to your basket; and then pay for them altogether.  eBay will automatically allocate your postage reduction for you. (If your eBay invoice does not allocate your postage reduction correctly, let us know and we will change it manually for you). 
POSTAGE & PACKAGING
We are a Mail Order Company. We work from our Business Units in Greater Manchester. We regret that it is not possible to offer a pick up facility for personal callers. 
We pack & post every day Monday to Friday. We have a Royal Mail business priority service collection every working day which enables us to ensure a rapid despatch.  We try to post items on the same or next working day after payment is received - and we usually succeed - unless we have some kind of trauma! 
We usually use a Tracked / Signed delivery. Overseas items are sent via International Signed or Tracked Services. All documentation for Recorded / Special Delivery / Tracked / Signed, is retained. * If you require a tracking ID, please let us know. You will be able to track it at www.royalmail.com  (via Customer Services, Track An Item).
We will send you an e-mail as soon as your item has actually been left in the hands of Royal Mail, so that you can prepare to receive it. (Many of our packages will not fit in a letter box). 
Items despatched within the UK will usually be delivered within 1 - 5 working days. Items despatched to Europe will usually be delivered between 3 - 7 working days. Items despatched to the rest of the world will usually be delivered between 5 - 9 working days.
* If you want us to post an item on the same day as you pay - in conjunction with the UK Royal Mail 'Next Day/Special Delivery' postage option (Mondays to Fridays only); please e-mail us before you buy - to find out whether or not we can catch the post! Thank you!  (Our cut off point is usually around midday - but this can change during busy periods). We do not post on Saturdays.
* If you buy more than one item at the same time, which we have advertised as a regular unsigned postage service, we may upgrade to 'Signed' at no extra cost.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
* Sorry! no personal callers. (We operate from Business Units around Greater Manchester).
* Sterling (£) (GBP) payments only.  
* Our items are despatched from Greater Manchester, UK.  We are legally required to submit the item transaction value on all non-EU transactions Customs Forms. Cross-border buyers are responsible for any customs duties imposed by their own country.
* Payments must be fully cleared before items are despatched. (We do not accept any responsibility for the lengthy duration of e-cheque processing via PayPal). 
* We reserve the right to refuse to send an item to an unconfirmed PayPal address or an address which is different to the featured PayPal or eBay address.
* Please satisfy yourself that a chosen item is suitable for your intended purpose. e.g. a watch with the correct water resistance rating should be chosen - prior to diving in water with it! (We are only an e-mail away if advice is required)!
* Please be aware that the colour tones in our photographs can often be affected by your own monitor settings. Please also be aware that the size of an item is not always obvious in a photograph. (Please read the actual size dimensions in the item text).
* In the unlikely event of an item going missing in the post, we reserve the right to wait 10 working days (UK), 25 days (OVERSEAS) before arranging a refund. (This time scale is determined by Royal Mail, not by us). We obtain Royal Mail Proof of Despatch for every item. If a missing item cannot be tracked, we will ask for your co-operation with regard to a Royal Mail investigation and a Royal Mail P58 Claim for Compensation / P91 Declaration of Non-Receipt, before we process a refund. 
* If a despatched item is returned to us marked "Not Called For" etc., a second postage charge will be applied before the item is despatched a second time.
* Arrangements need to be made to return unsuitable items (unused, unaltered and undamaged), within 14 days. It is your responsibility to return such items via a secure postage service at your own expense as we cannot take responsibility for items we have not received. Buyers should take due care of unwanted items, and pack them very carefully in the original protective packaging with all associated components including care leaflets, bar-code bags, guarantees & gift boxes etc. (The lenses of sunglasses and the faces of watches need particular protection). Upon receipt of the returned item (and all associated components) in pristine condition; we will make a rapid refund.  We will ask for the buyer's co-operation with regard to the eBay Cancel Transaction process; so that we can claim a final valuation sales fee credit from eBay. 
* Please note that if the returned item shows any sign of wear - we will not refund. Likewise, if the item is returned without components such as the original authentication papers - we will not refund.
* We retain absolute proof that our items are genuine so we do not issue refunds on the grounds that an item is 'fake'.
* Defective items, or items not as described; must be returned to us before a replacement or refund can be arranged. We act quickly to rectify any problems where we are at fault. It is the buyer's responsibility to return such items at their own expense initially. If the returned item is found to have a genuine fault, or is significantly not as described; then the eBay recommended return postage cost will also be refunded by us.
* We do not accept liability for items which have been switched, subjected to wear and tear, misuse, amendment or any kind of damage occurring after receipt. Returned 'switched' items, or items actually damaged or misused by the buyer; will not be replaced or refunded.
*Most of our watches carry a one year validated manufacturer's guarantee. Please keep the guarantee in a safe place. It is the buyer's responsibility to pay for the postage and handling charges as featured on the guarantee leaflet when claiming a free repair. 
* We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of title, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not accept liability for any claims of a consequential nature.
* Please note that we are business sellers and our responses to your communications will reflect your statutory rights under current sales legislation.

RETURNS

We offer a fast and friendly 14 day money back facility. 
ITEMS YOU DO NOT LIKE: (RETURN POSTAGE COSTS ARE NOT REFUNDED BY US). You can return any item you do not like for a full refund including the outward postage. Simply e-mail us - or use the eBay return facility, to let us know that it is unsuitable for you, and return it to us within 14 days.  When we receive the returned item we will refund via the same method as your original payment to us. Please pack the item very carefully; making sure that fragile parts are well protected by packaging. The returned item should be the exact item we supplied. It should be returned unused, unaltered, undamaged; and with the paperwork, guarantees, cases and all other components in perfect condition.
WRONG ITEM DELIVERED / DAMAGED ON RECEIPT / FAULTY ITEMS ON RECEIPT / ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED: (STANDARD 'SIGNED' RETURN POSTAGE COSTS ARE REFUNDED BY US).  If the product is defective or damaged on receipt, or if we have sent the wrong item, or if a component is missing, or if we have described the product incorrectly, or made any kind of mistake at all; please alert us to the problem within 48 hours of receipt. When we have received the returned item, and identified the fault; we will work quickly to offer you a full refund or replacement item and we will also refund the basic postage costs of returning the item to us under these circumstances. (WE DO NOT REFUND SPECIAL DELIVERY RETURN COSTS). 
*For all returns, we recommend that you obtain a Certificate of Posting or use a "Signed" Delivery Service in case you need to make a claim for an item lost in transit. Please quote your eBay user ID in the return package.
