The Heliopad Cu-1430 pure copper record weight is designed for turntables with heavier platter and more robust bearing. Sounds superior to any lighter and non-copper record weight due to the weight and anti-resonant characteristic of the copper - particularly soundstage, details, micro- and macrodynamics, lower frequencies are improved.

A finger tip friendly, ergonomically sized circular groove ensures the safe handling against accidental drop. The 1435 gram weight complies with the most turntables with robust bearing regardless the drive. 88 mm maximum diameter is safe for automatic tonearm pick-up mechanisms. 30 mm deep center hole with 7.28 mm diameter fits to every standard record player. Bottom surface is concave for optimal load on record as close as possible to the rim of the label recess. Center height is 40 mm.

The record weight is hand polished for brilliant look and then coated with thin silicone layer, but still with a metallic touch. As such the record weigh has a lustrous metallic surface looking way superior to any polymer/composite coating, and needs to be polished periodically*.

*BlueMagic, Simichrome works excellently. The record weight is not polymer coated to avoid the eventual breakdown of solvents under lacquer where copper can tarnish after months or years, or can be scratched easily and then to remove oxidization coating has to be stripped.
