The "Langhe"
(just a short introduction for my oversea customers)
is the heart of Piemonte which is a North Italian Region situated between the Upper Padan Plain near Torino in the East and the Ligurian Alps in the West (Liguria)
if you´d go North there is Valle D´Aosta then the Mont Blanc Region - behind the Mont Blanc : Switzerland
The region is famous for the world´s best red wines: Barbera , Barbaresco , Barolo , Nebbiolo , Grignolino...
but also for the best truffles in the world and its good food.
vine stocks pears apples and walnuts grow on this abundant ground the most fabulous way
And... this is the area where the most ambitious pieces of furniture in Italy have been manufactured
- also due to the high quality and wide range of wood growing in these woods
- from the point of view of design due to the fact being close to Torino and Milan where all the money is made
and "DESIGN" is part of the lifestyle.
(But they also have "exported" a lot to Rome and specially to Sicily... as the Sicilians have good taste too..)
Torino the Capital of Piemonte is famous being with Milan the most avantgardistic Italian cities for design
