I have for offer the vintage 14K gold opal Hatpin pictured. The pin measures approximately 2 1/4" long and 10mm wide.   The stone measures 4mm. I could not find a hallmark, but it has been fully tested and verified weighing in at 1.3 grams. There are no problems other than ordinary and normal use marks.  Comes from a clean, smoke-free home.

For items with gem type stones:  

-----If we refer to a stone as a diamond, then it is a natural earth minded diamond.  For all other stones, if you see the words "Natural" or "Earth mined" in the description or title, then the stones are natural.  If those words are not present, please assume the stones are manmade as our tester cannot differentiate between the two.  

For items with stones like turquoise, coral, or lapis, etc:

-----All stones will be natural unless we include the word faux.  Then they are manmade.
