Once again ..... .this item is selling as-is ...... there is a chip about the size of a dime on the edge of my rolling pin ....... i do not mind it much ..... but i mention it for accuracy
there is a blue wildflower border decoration on either end of the kitchen tool ...... it measures .... 15 inches overall ..... comes with what seems to be the original wooden handles .....
. stenciled in blue and with 4 lines of printed blue advertising ..... it reads ..... compliments of MARION FURNITURE CO. ..... 419 - 421 S. Washington st. ..... Marion Indiana
i am only some 10 miles south of Marion now ....... you are welcome to come over and see it in person ..... or pick it up and save the cost of shipping .......
i got this at a very clean estate auction in Indianapolis ...... i thought i might keep it ..... but you cannot keep it all ...... lol
. i saw one without a chip , but from the same furniture store in Marion sell on ebay recently ....... it brought $500.00 ........ mine with the chip is cheaper ..... lol
the handles unscrew ......someone has put some tape around the threads to make them tight ..... probably shrinkage of the wood over a hundred years ....... it does not matter , does not show ...... but i have no pictures of the inside of the rolling pin either ...... just now found it out ...... but it means nothing
.in any event , there are several pictures to see ..... it looks a bit like yellow ware where the chip is ........ at least there is no reserve on my classic rolling pin ....... gonna say 1890 to 1910 for a date ....... thats about the same time as jug and crock ironstone pieces were made .......

Usually the post office and sometimes UPS ......and sometimes the eBay shipping calculator is way off the mark ............. please ask if the shipping seems too much ....... often we can send it slower and save you some money ..... , it simply depends on where you live ...... items going overseas naturally cost more to ship than those that stay in the states ......... IF the shipping cost turns out to be more than the actual cost ...... we will refund the difference
