OLD SHEFFIELD PLATE TEA URN / HOT WATER URN / SAMOVAR c. 1840

A gorgeous Melon Shaped Samovar / Tea Urn / Hot Water Urn in a classic Melon shape. This Urn has spectacular scroll shaped handles in the shape of a pair of intertwined snakes that crawl from the handles onto the rim of the Urn. The Urn stands on four ornate feet supporting a wide spread pedestal foot. 

Made in Sheffield, UK.
