The McDonals restaurant chain ran a Breakfast Holiday Draw in 1997. To enter you had to enclose bottle tops from one of their specialised products. Unfortunately this caused problems with Royal Mails sorting machinery and many items were damaged by becoming jammed in the mechanism.  

A member of the Philatelic Traders' Society (PTS). We do our best to be accurate with descriptions, noting faults and giving a straight forward presentation of the items for sale. We care what you think and welcome comments and feedback about our service and items so we can improve customer satisfaction. We aim to package and dispatch items the same day, or within 1 working day (excluding Saturday and Sunday) if payment is made before 2:30pm. However, if a purchase does not meet your expectation for any reason we would welcome the opportunity to address the issues and are more than happy for items to be returned for a full refund.

Terms of business
a. A full refund will be given for any items that are returned and received by Empire Collectables in their original sale condition within 30 days of receipt
b. Payment may be made by cheque drawn on the UK office of a UK bank, payable to Empire Collectables in GB Pounds (sterling) only
c. Items will be despatched within 2 working days of payment being received
d. All items remain the property of Empire Collectables until paid for in full
