Time Visions Comments
The Reactor Gryphon is known as one of the best tactical timepieces in the world. This black-on-black execution is a classic take on a timeless tactical look. The Reactor Gryphon features a lightweight and tough-as-nails Nitromid polymer coating over its forged 316L stainless core for unbeatable impact resistance. This is the same coating found on Glock firearms. The Gryphon also boasts Reactor’s famous co-molded rubber/nylon strap for incredible strength and wearability. This 22mm strap has 1200 lbs tensile strength webbing co-molded into Reactor's soft silicone/rubber blend. This gives this unique strap the strength of nylon with the comfort and longevity of rubber. Driving this watch is a high-torque quartz movement. Endurance is also a quality of Reactor's Gryphon. Worried about having to change the battery in a couple of years? Forget it. This watch comes with a 10 Year Power Cell that will keep it ticking long after most of your other battery-powered timepieces have gone to the jeweler 3 times for battery changes! The K1 crystal and case are pressure rated to 200 meters/660 feet which meets the requirement for Scuba diving.
The Gryphon also features Reactor’s Never Dark (ND) technology. Never Dark combines the intense brightness of an immense eight layers of Superluminova with the multi-year longevity of Tritium in order to deliver what we at Time Visions believe to be the best lume we’ve ever seen on a watch. This design even features 2 distinct colors of Tritium tubes. Be sure to check out our video on this watch to see the lume in action!
Reactor's unique and innovative "Second Life" packaging contains the instruction manual plus the 2 year manufacturer's warranty. These are located under the magnetic lid. We've included original photos and a video of the model we are selling. If you have ANY questions regarding this watch, please drop us an email for a quick response.

Every Reactor watch shares a set of engineering criteria that Reactor has branded its “DNA.” These features are built into every watch Reactor makes, and they’re what we at Time Visions believe gives Reactor not only a superior build quality, but a superior value.
Reactor Packaging
Nearly every Reactor watch (with the exception of Limited Edition and Diamond watches) comes with Reactor's innovative "Second Life" package. The tough, weighted base turns the watch into a nice desk clock when not being worn (and keeps the watch from being tossed into a drawer) while the thickly padded cylinder transforms into the world's best can coozie, keeping your favorite beverage cold and condensation-free for hours. There is zero waste - nothing to be thrown away.
Reactor Warranty & Service
The Reactor warranty is simple and straight forward: if anything goes wrong with your Reactor watch in the first two years of ownership, Reactor will either repair or replace it at their expense. Normal wear and tear and abuse are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered by the warranty. That's it. A warranty you don't need a law degree to understand. And after the warranty you get the same great service and same 48 hour turnaround, generally for $30 to $60, including return shipping. Virtually all other watch warranties only cover the movement of the watch. The Reactor warranty covers the entire watch which makes their warranty the best we have seen. Many companies talk about putting the customer first, but Reactor actually does it. When you call Reactor, a live human being answers the phone. When you send them a watch for repair, it is fixed and on its way back to you generally in 48 hours or less, and they pay the return shipping. Their repair center is located in their main offices in the US. They maintain a parts inventory that is unheard of in the industry, and the founder of the company personally handles any tricky repairs. This is the way customer service should be.
