  • About the Will Corporation:
    • The Will Corporation was incorporated in 1919 following Roland Will's purchase of the Bausch & Lomb Company's Apparatus and Chemical Departments. The Will Corporation, headquartered in Rochester, acquired the Buffalo Apparatus Corporation in the 1930's. Shortly thereafter the company moved to New York City. After World War II the Will Corporation added warehouses in Atlanta and Baltimore, and established "Will of West Virginia" in Charleston. In 1964, the company acquired the laboratory supply division of Macalaster Scientific Corporation of Cambridge, Massachusetts and its name changed to Will Scientific Inc. Additional acquisitions followed. (Research credited to the Department of History of Science, Harvard University at harvard.edu).
    • Physical Condition:
      • There is some staining down either side of the rack, but "The Will Corp" stamp is still visible. There is a medium-sized stain on the bottom of the rack. (pictured) I cleaned the test tubes the best I could, but they will still need cleaning before use. No cracks or chips in the test tubes. Please see pictures for complete assessment.
