This is a RARE find. AND I believe currently THE ONLY one on ebay in the US.
I purchased this system years ago when I saw it on ebay because I knew how rare it was because of the characteristics I will describe to you.
The system has NEVER had the YLOD and when I purchased it it was very close to launch so it was not played much before me owning it.
I only used it for about 1-2 hours in the last 5 years because I wanted it to remain in near perfect condition. Purchased when I was 23 to be an investment because this will be a collectors piece in the future. I'm 28 now and unfortunately struggling financially and need to unload it and other items.
The only sign of wear is a minor scuff on the top casing that can be buffed out. It's pictured. Barely visible.

This system has 3.55 Firmware NEVER upgraded beyond that.
Meaning this system is MODABLE. You can make it able to play burned games, hack it for add-on firmware, make it an emulator ETC. THAT makes this hugely rare. DO NOT hook this system up to the internet or it will want to update the firmware and take away those abilities.
This is the Japanese version of the PS3 with English text and therefor totally useable for anyone here in the states.
Plays Pal versions of movies. All Region 2 Blurays and DVDs.
And can play ALL PS3 games world wide.
The X and O buttons are reversed on the controller
Also comes with the original Japanese Version of Spiderman 3 it originally sold with.
Has original 40GB Hard Drive
No controllers or wires included.
WORKS 100% NO issues whatsoever.

This is a VERY rare find and quite honestly if I pull out of this financial trouble before this sells I will be keeping this because I truly believe its value will be going up. Do some google searches, this exact system has sold for upwards of $2,000 and discussions about it can be found on video game forums. Whether you just want to play it yourself or hold onto it for when it really becomes a collectible here's your chance.
