It doesn't get better than this, I absolutely adore it, mint condition & untouched. I was so astonished by this that I have shown a photo of one of my nails painted with one coat, & this is sheer unadulterated magic. 

This is NOT strictly speaking silver, for it has a taupe overtone & Chanel used a micro glitter-dust blended with a slightly larger square glitter which applies with a level of perfection I have never before encountered with any glittery nail varnish (& I love glitter varnishes).  The glitter is set it within an odd almost taupy translucent base, which flattens the glitter effect somewhat, that is untill you add a second coat & then it comes into its own, & it is an astonishing true lame.  Date/batch code 1901
