All guitars are checked before dispatch

All guitars go through our 12 point checking procedure to make sure that it passes our standards before shipping. This helps ensure your guitar will reach you in perfect condition.

All guitars are checked against our 12 point check list and once passed, have a Guitarbitz quality control sticker attached.

In addition to this we want to ensure that no harm can come to your guitar on the journey between us and you and so we have a rigorous packing procedure involving multiple protective layers.

If you notice that this packaging is damaged when delivered by our courier, it is important to check the goods and if damaged, refuse the delivery and call us immediately.

For your peace of mind, we have outlined the 12 Point Check and Packing Procedures to show how we are passionate about your instrument.

When will I get my order?

Guitar accessories - strings, straps, stands, tuners and other small items
* Orders weighing less than 2kg are posted First Class Royal Mail on the dispatch date shown.
* Orders weighing less than 2kg with a value over £30 will be sent First Class Royal Mail recorded delivery on the dispatch date shown.
* We cannot guarantee a delivery time for these orders, but First Class post usually takes 1-2 days.

Guitars, Amplifiers and larger items

* Orders weighing over 2kg are sent via our next working day courier service.

* Northern Ireland, north of Scotland, Isle of Man, Shetland Isles, Western Isles, Channel Islands are a 2 working day area for Interlink Express.

We will do everything we can to ensure you receive your goods within the time frame specified.
We work with our courier who have at least a 99% delivery rate with their next working day service.
If there are any unforseen delays we will do our utmost to rectify the issue.

We will email you confirmation when your order has been dispatched. If your order is sent via our couriers we will provide you with the tracking reference number.

Interlink Express Delivery

The Home Delivery Service You Have Been Waiting For.

Interlink Express will provide you with a one hour delivery window so you don't have to wait in all day for your parcel.  Please supply us with your mobile phone number and we can arrange for our couriers to text you your delivery window on the day of delivery.

When Interlink Express deliver:
* You are given a one hour delivery window
* You are notified of this by text message on the morning of delivery
* You are notified of this by email on the morning of delivery
* If not convenient you can use the email to change the delivery date

Returns
Guarantee
Guitars, Amplifiers and Electronic Equipment have at least a 1 years manufacturer warranty. If an item becomes defective within the warranty period, please contact us and if necessary we can arrange for you to return the goods to us.  This does not apply to fair wear and tear, neglect or abuse.  Once received back we will check the item. If an item is found to be faulty we will repair, if possible, or replace the item at the discretion of Bitz Online Ltd.

For UK returns, we offer a collection service for returning large items that are deemed to be faulty. We will arrange with you for our couriers to collect the item and return it to Guitarbitz.  Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit.

For smaller items, or if you decide not to use our collection service to return an item, we recommend using an applicable Royal Mail service with relevant insurance to cover your costs of the item if anything goes wrong on its way back to us.  Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit and retain your postal receipt and proof of postage.  Once received, we will check the items and if it is found to be faulty, we will compensate you for your postage costs*.

*The maximum we are able to compensate will be based on the price of our collection service. Details are available upon request. Compensation for your postage costs will be via a Guitarbitz credit to your E-Wallet.  Please note we are unable to refund the cost of using Royal Mail Special Delivery or Recorded Delivery services.

Please note that if goods are repaired or inspected by a third party during this period for any reason without our written consent, this may invalidate the warranty, and we cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred.

You are responsible for maintaining your product and general maintenance is not covered by the warranty.

If you return an item to us for repair and it is not found to be faulty or the fault is not covered under the warranty, we may charge you a service charge and you will be responsible for the cost of getting the item to us and our costs of returning the item back to you.

Cooling Off Period
Under the ‘Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013’, you have a 'cooling off period', a right to cancel orders made on this website for 14 days from the day you receive your goods in full.

Provided that the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packaging, are undamaged and in new condition, you can give us notice of cancellation and request a return authorisation code from us. Please note that we cannot accept returned goods without this code. 

To inform us that you wish to return an item, you can email us, call us or you may also use our cancellation form, which you can download here – http:// www.guitarbitz.com/returns-authorisation-request-form-i103 .

You should then return the unwanted goods to us as soon as possible, within 14 days.  Once the items are received safely back at Guitarbitz, and provided the goods (including packaging, accessories, manuals etc) have not been used, have all of the original packaging and are undamaged and in new condition, we shall then arrange a full refund within 14 days.

Guitarbitz reserve the right to make a deduction to the refund if the value of the goods has been reduced as a result of you handling the goods more than was necessary.

When you receive your order, you must take reasonable care of the goods.  You may inspect and assess them, but not use them. The extent to which you can handle the goods is the same as it would be if you were assessing them in our shop.

You will be responsible for the costs of returning any unwanted item(s). Please be aware that you are responsible for returning the item to us safely so please package the item well to avoid damage while in transit and retain your postal receipt and proof of postage.

Any variations to the returns policy above is by special arrangement with us ONLY, we are not obliged to accept returns after this period unless the goods develop a fault and are within warranty.

The following is an indication of the costs of using Royal Mail and/or Parcel Force to return items to us:-

Here's what we do for you

We tune ALL guitars and check them for problems, damage or playability issues before dispatch. We want your guitar to be in top form when you get it so you can start enjoying it straight away.

All guitars and guitar accessories shown on ebay are in stock and ready for dispatch. This means you will not have to wait days or weeks for your goods. Orders made before 4pm on a working day are sent that day for delivery to you the next working day (some parts of the UK may take 2 working days).

We use an overnight courier for guitars and amplifiers, Interlink Express, who have proved to be extremely reliable. They do not normally deliver on a weekend, but we can arrange this for you at a small extra cost.

ALL of our products are brand new and boxed from the UK's top musical instrument suppliers. These are some of the best known branded guitars around, so you know you'll be getting a popular, well known instrument with a good reputation. We refuse to sell seconds, catalogue returns, unbranded goods and, of course, damaged stuff.

ALL of our guitars and amps are covered by at least a 1 year manufacturers warranty, if anything goes wrong, contact us and we will do our best to help get it sorted.

Our guitar shop in Frome is open 6 days a week 9-5 weekdays and 10-4 Saturdays with free parking right outside.

Everything that shows as "In Stock" on our website is available in our store in Frome and you are welcome to visit us to try any of our products.

We also offer repair facilities, string changes and servicing at very competitive prices.

If you are looking for some inspiration, need help playing a song, wanting to learn the thoery or just want to learn to play, then we have dedicated teaching rooms and some fantastic tutors that can give you all the help and guidance that you need.

A Little More About Guitarbitz

Guitarbitz guitar shop was created in early 2004 by James Oliver and Davin Kenwood to cater for the UK's 3 million guitarists. We wanted to create a new type of guitar shop that could cater for guitar players of all levels, but with particular help for beginners and intermediate players, with clear product descriptions, photographs, easy navigation and no techno babble!

We always vowed that customer service would be our top priority, so we can concentrate all of our efforts on you.

We have come a long way since our early beginnings. We have dedicated mail order facilities with large stocks of all our key products as well as our popular shop near Frome, on the Somerset / Wiltshire border, just south of Bath, which is open 6 days a week, giving you the opportunity to visit us and try out our large range of guitars, amplifiers and accessories.
