Montane Men's Warm Flux Jacket Features:

Both the warm hood and the main body of the jacket are lined with Primaloft Silver Eco insulation. Primaloft Eco uses over 50% recycled materials and is kind to the environment.

• The main body has 100 gms/sq metre of insulation whilst the arms & hood have 60 gms/sq metre.
• There is no need for quilting with Primaloft insulation so the outer Pertex Classic Eco maintains excellent wind and water resistance with no through stitching. The insulation is held in place by stitching to the inner lining of Peaq fabric.
• Primaloft also maintains good insulation properties even when damp or wet and it dries quickly to achieve its maximum insulation properties.
• The hood has been designed to work either over a cragging helmet or under a full mountaineering helmet.
• The hood has a wired peak and other features include non whip pull cords which can be adjusted with one hand. The volume adjuster at the back can be tightend so the hood is clamped to the head. The hood then moves with you as the head is turned to give excellent all round visibility.
• The chest pocket area features 60 gms/sq metre Primaloft Eco in front of and 100 gms/sq metre behind the pockets giving this frontal area 160gms/sq metre of insulation in total. Hence you stay warm even when the pockets are unzipped and in use. Also the pockets are excellent for hand warming.
• The two zipped hand warmer pockets with this extra insulation are high enough to permit easy access when wearing a rucksack, these pockets will also fit a good sized folding map.
• Two zipped napoleon style chest pockets are included in this double insulated area.
• An internal chest pocket is also included. This is a great place for your mobile phone and/or wallet.
• Active cut with drop tail for butt protection at the back and unrestricted leg movement at the front.
• Lightweight for a warm jacket at 620gms (21.9 oz) for size Medium so you can go further, faster and for longer.

Good wind resistance due to the tight weave of the Pertex Classic Eco mini rip-stop 100% recycled polyester fabric so you stay warm and comfortable. This fabric is also showerproof and fast drying with excellent durable water repellency (DWR).

• Water repellent with a spray rating of 80 / 20.
• The hood is lined with Pertex Classic Eco rip-stop fabric which has a beautiful soft touch.
• The whole jacket will stuff into your right hand, hand warmer pocket for easy storage when on the move.

• The pocket has a two sided zip for this purpose and the resulting parcel makes a small pillow for camping.
• Full length, two way YKK front zip with rear wind baffle.
• This zip can be pulled up from the bottom so the jacket can be worn over a climbing harness, and there is also easy access to your trousers.
• The top of the internal storm baffle is lined with beardguard trim (similar to micro-fleece) giving excellent comfort on your face. The baffle prevents facial hair from becoming caught in the zip.
• YKK All the zips are YKK Vislon zips. These are designed to be easy sliding for use in icy conditions.
• Cuffs can be adjusted to keep out the drafts by using Velcro with easy grab tabs for easy tightening when wearing gloves are mittens.
• The bottom hem can be adjusted with single hand operated, elasticated draw cords on either side to keep out cold air and powdery snow.

Washing Instructions: The Flux Jacket uses PERTEX® fabric which contains a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) as the first barrier in keeping you dry. Clean your garment in order to maintain this.

• Machine wash in warm water at 30°C/86°F with a mild detergent.
• MONTANE® recommends that you use Nikwax Tech Wash.
• Do not use fabric softeners or bleach.
• Drip dry.
• Your jacket may need occasional re-proofing to restore the DWR. MONTANE® recommends Nikwax TX Direct.
