Follow these instruction: For Windows 7, we highly recommend you to create a recovery disk by using Lenovo Create Recover Media application built into the operating system. You can also call Lenovo with serial number, they will sent you the recovery disk overnight for free.For the OEM version of Windows system, the product key is already built in and ready for activation. Please read and follow recovery disk instruction before installing the operating system.
If the laptop currently has Windows 7 installed, is it able to upgrade to Windows 10?

How can we determine DOA and accept the defective return?
Follow the instruction: Turn on the machine and keep pressing F10, Lenovo hardware diagnostics shows up, run all the testes, take the picture of the test result and sent it to us.
