VERY
RARE "micrometer" stands, that bolt to the back of the
speaker. These can be sand (ballast) filled, allow for wire concealment,
and allow
you to get the most out of the speaker. Mission often makes speaker
specific stands. These are actually quite amazing, and I'm sure cost
more to make than the speakers themselves - they are a light but rigid
cast alloy, spiked at the bottom (removable), bolt to the back of these
speakers, and have a resting point for the bottom of the speaker that
looks like a bullet, it's rounded so as to not damage the speaker, and
is adjustable to put a little tension to make the speaker rigid
in space. Very outrageous and innovative engineering! You'll certainly
have something unique.
These stands are the type with a base spike and a dedicated rear fixing that make the speaker look like it is balancing on the single centred spike from the front. Now you know what those brass threads are for on the back of your 731's
They make a real statement visually and have the mission build quality and unique design that we've come to expect.
Made from a super-rigid and light metal composite material with sandbags (you place them inside the shaft) and floor spikes to provide excellent isolation from vibration and distortion.
