Offered for sale is a used 1974 Bianchi Specialissima. The frame is in original condition. The celeste paint has scuffs, chips, chain slap, and touch-ups. but overall pretty nice. There aren't any dents and it is not crashed. It measures 57cm (center-to-center) or 59cm to top tip of seat lug, and has a 57cm top tube (center-to-center). The decals are in great condition (top tube Campagnolo sticker has some scuffs but ok). There is a gold bike shop sticker on it too from New York. This is your typical early Specialissima frame with long point lugs, Bianchi in raised lettering on the seat stay caps, and two cut out slots in the bottom bracket shell. The front and rear dropouts are chromed in nice condition. The right side seat lug has 174 stamped into it, and the left side 334. It has all Italian threading, 120mm rear spacing and 70mm bottom bracket size. It has full Campagnolo Nuovo Record group. All parts are clean and in really nice condition with the exception of early Campagnolo brake levers. These have some scratches and have Universal hoods but still nice. Some parts are new. The seat post and shifters are Bianchi pantographed. The pedals are the early Superleggeri with small lettering, Binda straps and Cornez (Italian) toe clips. The rear derailleur is marked Pat 74 and the crank arms match (STRADA 170 <4>). The chainrings are 51/43. The handlebars are 3ttt Superleggera (Giro d'Italia type bend) and are 40cm end-to-end. The stem is the early 3ttt Record with small writing and is 110mm long. It has REG handlebar plugs. The saddle is an NOS 3ttt smooth leather Model O. The wheels are newly built up Campagnolo Nuovo Record 36 hole hubs with Stella spokes with new Nisi tubular rims. The freewheel is a Regina GS Oro 5 speed and the chain is a Regina Oro SC. Also included is a celeste Binchi engraved Silca frame-fit pump and REG water bottle cage. Overall, it's a great bike.
