This is a barely used Parker 51 Special Edition fountain pen with box, converter, and two ink cartridges. It is an exceptionally nice example of this pen -- it may only need to be polished. This is a collector's item as well as a good pen. In 2002 Parker reintroduced the famed Parker "51" as a Special Edition.  The retail price was $350.00.The pen was available in two colors, Vista Blue and Black.  The caps had the famous Empire Design done in Sterling Silver with a reproduction of the venerable Blue Diamond clip.  The Vista Blue was only available in all Sterling Silver, while the black pen only came with Gold Vermeil Sterling Cap. The filler was the standard cartridge or converter.  The nib was 14k, available only in medium or fine. This edition has become very hard to find and as a result the prices have increased dramaticaly over the past 14 years since it was first introduced.

The most famous Parker ever was brought back to life in one of its rarest finishes -- the Empire State etched cap, evoking the nostalgia and love for New York and the Empire State. The Parker 51 Special Edition features the latest in fountain pen technology.

The Parker 51 Special Edition features an 18K gold hooded nib and hand polished platinum alloy point for smooth writing. The nib is a Medium. Inside is a twist piston covertor for bottled ink and two ink cartridges are included. The cap features the Blue Diamond Empire State design and the clip features Parker's original blue diamond insignia as well as the standard arrow design. The vista blue barrel and with all white metal cap in Empire state design are highlighted by 23K gold plated clip and trim. It is a smooth writer.

International Buyers

When shopping on eBay, you may notice that some items offered by sellers in the US and the UK have customs services and international tracking provided. These items can be shipped internationally through the Global Shipping Program.

The Global Shipping Program makes it easier for buyers in some countries outside the US and UK to purchase items from these sellers. The US or UK seller ships the item to a local global shipping provider, and the global shipping provider ships the item to you.

When you purchase an item through the Global Shipping Program:

You pay any applicable import charges upfront. There are no additional charges at delivery.

You get international tracking at no additional charge.

Your purchase is eligible for coverage through the eBay Money Back Guarantee and PayPal Purchase Protection.

When you view an item that is being offered to you through the Global Shipping Program, you see an estimate of the international shipping charges and any import charges in the item listing. Once you purchase the item, the final charges appear at checkout.

Import charges include certain fees, such as export classification, importation risk premium, and variance fees, which are assessed by the global shipping provider as part of the services provided by the Global Shipping Program. These fees are in addition to any customs duties and taxes imposed by country tax and customs officials. For additional information about applicable fees, see the eBay Global Shipping Program Buyer Terms & Conditions.

Important things to keep in mind:

The charges that you see in the item listing are not final until you pay for the item. These charges could change if, for example, you change your shipping address during checkout, or if the applicable import rules change before you complete your payment.

With the exception of shipments to certain countries, delivery to P.O. Boxes isn't supported by the Global Shipping Program. We also can't deliver to APO or FPO addresses.

Checkout

During checkout, you see the final charges for your item, including the item cost, the shipping costs, and any import charges. The shipping costs include any US or UK domestic shipping fees charged by the seller, as well as program fees, international shipping charges, fuel surcharges, and processing and handling fees.

International shipping charges are calculated based on a number of factors including your delivery address, shipping weight, and package dimensions.

When you pay for the item through PayPal, you are authorizing 2 payment transactions. The first payment goes to the seller and consists of the item cost and the US or UK domestic shipping costs. The second payment goes to the global shipping provider and consists of the international shipping costs and any import charges. After you've completed checkout, you can review these charges on the Order details page. The Order details page shows the total charges and the payment amounts to the seller and global shipping provider.

Note: The Request total from the seller link is not available for Global Shipping Program purchases. You will see the total, including shipping, when you purchase the item.
