One PVDF piezoelectric film tab. This tab measures 1 inch by 1/2 inch with pins for soldering to connections of your choice. These tabs are flexible and paper thin.
Piezo
film has a wide frequency response range of 0.001Hz to 1 billion Hz. It
also has a vast dynamic range and low acoustic impedance. Silver ink screen printed electrodes.
One element produces more than 10 millivolts per microstrain, about 60 dB
higher than the voltage output of a foil strain gauge.
They are the simplest form of piezo film sensors, used primarily as dynamic strain gauges, flick sensors, pyroelectric sensors, accelerometers, touch sensors, pickups, drum triggers or contact microphones for vibration or impact detection. They can be readily adhered to a surface with double-sided tape or epoxy.
These tabs function best when shielded with copper tape and used with a preamp and amplifier.
Tabs will be shipped well protected by cardboard.
