Isis Pendulum, the most known, appreciated and used of Egyptian group of pendulums, by shape symbolizes "The Cross of Life" and the elements of Djed Pilar (spine of Osiris). It took its name after Isis (Greek's Izyda), Goddess of Haven and Earth,wife of Osiris, Mother of Horus.

Advantages over other pendulums:

Crystal pendulums are easily influenced by negative energies and thus can give misleading results; they need regular cleansing. Among metal pendulums some are self-cleansing due to their shape such as the popular Karnak and Isis pendulums. The Karnak pendulum emits negative green which is great for desiccating but unhealthy for the dowser's body and is recommended to be kept dismantled. The Isis pendulum however has a lovely energy and can even be worn as jewelry.
