For sale here is an original vintage roll down school chart of 
CRAWFISH/CRAYFISH -JUNG, KOCH, QUENTELL

Published by Frommann & Morian and printed by Hagemann in Germany in the 1950s/ 1960s.


This beautifully illustrated chart show the internal and external anatomy of the crayfish.

  • CONDITION
Printed on paper and backed with canvas, this chart has a black wooden dowel top and bottom.

It has spent most of it's life rolled up in a cupboard so the colours are still fresh and bright.


Obviously these charts are not new  so please check all photos before purchase. 

There is some wear that comes with age, some light creasing and cracking on the bottom half.


These old charts were produced as educational tools for schools and colleges by 

 teacher Heinrich Jung, artist and biologist Gottlieb von Koch and college director, Doctor Friedrich Quentell. 

The black background acts as a chalk board which allowed teachers to annotate them during the lesson. 


These beautiful old school charts have been used as educational aids for the last 100 years or so. Since the introduction of computers and white boards to schools they have become available to buy, their availability has dictated their rise in popularity in the interior design world. They bring a lot of colour, warmth and charm to any room in the house.
