YOHJI YAMAMOTO black silk swirl dress. 

Red (similar) version of this dress was part of the 2011 exhibition "Yohji Yamamoto at the Victoria and Albert Museum", and similar models reside in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Kyoto Costume Institute.

Made of a fine textured silk fabric and fitted bodice that has one large hoop incorporated into the asymmetrical skirt making it swell out in a distorted shape rather than a pure circle.

Top fitted to the body is combined with this three-dimensional skirt ,and the composition is further augmented by circular sleeve parts attached to the shoulders.Very unique three-dimensional and somewhat distorted shape. 

The resoult is minimal but visually rich. The dress closes with a concealed silver-tone metal zipper and a metal hook at the back.Fabric 100% silk. Silky black lining .Made in Japan.
