It's quite rare to see a Minitech Minimill/3 PRO in any configuration offered on eBay. Although much sought out, few can afford one of these highly accurate jeweler's mill! These machines originally cost about $12K plus options and sport huge 15mm ball screws for positioning; it's perhaps the most accurate desktop CNC mill made and sold in the US.
Description: Lightly used Minitech Minimill/3 PRO three axis ball screw based jeweler's mill. I owned one of these in the early 2000's and this version of Minimill/3 is greatly improved; much beefier ball screws!

I'm selling just the Minimill/3 PRO; not the other contents of my garage.

Includes custom made Nema 23 stepper mounting plates and direct drive shaft coupling clamps for mounting your NEMA 23 stepper motors. When you purchase your software and controls order NEMA 23 sized motors; then stepper installation will take about 5 minutes per motor. I have included a sample NEMA 23 stepper motor with 1/4" diameter shaft for the Z axis so you can see how the steppers are mounted. It doesn't get much easier than this, Folks. I recommend double shaft steppers to have an option to add manual control hand wheels as well.

This Minimill/3 Pro has a mounting for an NSK high speed brushless spindle with a 22.5 mm diameter so you may need to modify the mounting for your own spindle configuration. Minitech sells NSK high speed spindles and a Sherline DC motor and spindle. One or the other may do the trick. Please call Minitech at 770-441-8525 for more information.

Condition: Overall the cosmetic condition is very good but the best part is that mechanically this mill is in excellent condition. Some parts have new paint and some parts have the original black paint with some minor chips and scratches in the paint.

Shipping: Flat rate includes a custom crate and 150 pound Fedex shipping anywhere in the continental US ONLY*.

* Although the listing says "No International Shipping", Freight shipments overseas are possible but only if originated by the customer. If you can figure it out it may be well worth it!

Shipping Specifications: Shipping is flat rate for the continental US. For overseas freight estimates, plan on a 24" x 24" x 34" high enclosed crate; weight is 150 lbs. maximum. Freight category 100. The shipment will most likely originate from Romulus, MI 48174 if I deliver it to a trucking depot.

Residential pick up at my machine shop in Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103 or shipping must be completed within 30 days of sale date, otherwise storage fees will be applied at $50 /week.
