Vintage Moss Rose China 15 Piece Teapot or Coffee Pot Set with Gold Trim

This Vintage 15 Piece Tea/Coffee Set in the Moss Rose Pattern, has no markings. Made of beautiful white porcelain and has Gold Trim on each piece. This detailing makes this Set Rare and Unique like no others. You may search for yourself. WE have had other comments comparing ours to their's but they have markings and ours does not. There is a lot of variations for moss rose out there so be careful!
China has the look and feel of Victorian Era china.  The footed cups are very delicate and the deep pink roses are beautiful and grace the inside of the cup.
All pieces are in good condition with no cracks, chips, crazing or gold wear. This was an estate find. We were not able to ascertain a date on these cups but they are vintage, probably 1930's. This set would be great for a tea party or treasure in your collection.
There are no markings on the bottom. Look to be very old and delicate. They look to be unused and always stored! I DO NOT think they are made in Japan since they are unmarked and due to their age. Beautifully sculptured and designed.

The moss rose, a favorite Victorian flower, has decorated ceramic ware since the early 1800s. Originally made by potters in England, France and Germany, antique moss rose items include tea and dresser sets, dinnerware and chamber pieces prized by today's moss rose collectors.

Although the popularity of moss rose china patterns lasted almost a century - a 131-piece dinner set was featured in the 1895 Montgomery Ward & Co. catalog - by 1900 the bloom was off the rose. However, following World War II, the moss rose motif was reintroduced and subsequently mass-produced in Japan for American distributors. Firms such as Lefton China Co. imported the moderately-priced tableware, coffee and snack sets, kitchenware, decorative items and children's play dishes and sold them throughout the U.S. until the mid-1960s.
