BorgWarner K16 250bhp+ quick spool turbo

Great spec with anti-surge compressor inlet and quick spool 5cm (~A/R 0.38) turbine

We've sold a lot of these late spec BorgWarner K16s over the years of various specs, as they're great small turbos,in our opinion better than the Garrett T2/T25/T28/GT25 range of units, featuring an anti-surge compressor housing, and while this is one of the smallest versions we've seen, it still features a big 63mm (bigger overall than a GT28RS) high efficiency compressor wheel that is efficient at high boost unlike the Garretts, and a small quick spool, 5cm (A/R 0.38) turbine housing with internal wastegate.

While we prefer of course to sell these units with conventional T2 flanges (and at much higher prices than this!), this particular unit came with a BorgWarner logo turbine housing with a 4bolt flange, but not T2, so will suit someone who's building a custom setup so can easily get a flange cut to suit. For this reason we've got this turbo listed at a super low price to clear, and a true bargain for the right owner.

SPECIFICATION-

• Alloy compressor housing with 2.5in anti-surge ported shroud inlet and 2in ID v-band outlet.
• 63mm (Bigger than a GT2860RS) 6 blade compressor wheel with 40mm inducer capable of 250bhp+
• Oil cooled journal bearing core with 360deg thrust bearing and heavy duty shaft.
• BorgWarner 5cm (A/R 0.38) internally wastegated turbine housing with 4bolt inlet flange and 4bolt outlet flange.
• High flow 41mm exducer turbine wheel with 55mm inducer.
