Rare Style Boho Embroidered 3D Rosebuds Vintage Wedding Dress
Romantic 1960s (I believe- but not positive of vintage) handmade dress with gorgeous embroidered rosebud detailing (see photos!)
Fabric is unknown- similar to a linen blend, with a slightly crisp feel, in a pale ivory.
The pink and white rosebuds are 3D (see the last photo with quarters inserted for better idea)
Maxi length with fitted bust and empire waist. Scalloped neckline.
Slightly flared 3/4 sleeves with scalloped edges.
Skirt flares at bottom and has scalloped hemline
The back zips at center and hooks at nape.
Falls around ankle area.
This dress is nicely done by a superb craftsman and I have never seen one similar!
Size: There are no tags. The fit is most like a modern woman size 2. (check measurements).
MEASUREMENTS (lying flat, measured at front and doubled).
Shoulder: 13 3/4" shoulder seam to shoulder seam
Bust: 32 1/2" around, measured at armpit (with extra fitted bust room)
Sleeve: 15" from shoulder seam along outer arm
Waist: 27 3/4" around.
Hips: 42" around.
Length from top of shoulder to hem while hanging: 52 1/2"
