Can I wear 999 Fine (24K Pure) metal everyday?

A: Yes, absolutely!

This is a great investment you can wear every day. Believe it or not, 999 (24 Karat) metal is durable enough for every day wear. This is largely due to the thickness of my rings once they are completed-1mm. The 1mm thickness allows the circle to maintain its shape as you wear it and squeeze everyday items, unlike much thinner jewelry grade 18-22K bands. 24K metal is still soft because its pure, so remember to take the ring off if you are doing intensive hard work with your hands (Chopping wood, Working on your Car, etc). It can ding/dent the top coat if you drop it on a concrete floor or if you bang it on a hard surface. Keep this in mind to preserve your investment. 

What is a 999 Fine Metal ? is it 24 Karat?

A: Millesimal Fineness is a system denoting the purity of platinum, gold and silver alloys.

Much like the Metric system, Fineness is another way to say 24 Karat, 18 Karat, 14 Karat and so on. Here is a chart to assist:

GOLD

999 = 24 Karat-100% Gold

916 = 22 Karat-91.67% Gold

750 = 18 Karat -75% Gold

585 = 14 Karat -58.3% Gold

417 = 10 Karat-41.7% Gold

SILVER

999 = 24 Karat-100% Silver

925 = Sterling Silver 92.5% (7.5% copper)

How Large is the 1 ounce Ring?

A: The finished 1oz Rings are almost 1/2 an inch wide

1 Troy ounce is over 30 grams, keep in mind these rings are slightly heavier than your standard jewelry grade rings due to being 1mm thick. A Ring you can Feel. Here is what one customer said about the 1 ounce ring.

Do you make smaller rings?

A: Yes:

I use ½ and ¼ ounce rounds as well because they allow me make smaller rings. The ½ ounce silver round can produce a ring that has a band thickness of a ¼ of an inch. The ¼ ounce rounds produce a band thickness even smaller.

A: Sizes 2-15 are available and everything in between.

Can I choose what side of the Coin faces Outward?

A: Yes of course!

Either side of the coin can be presented on the outside, where it will be seen while wearing it. I pick the most popular/visual to be on the outside in the examples you see in my photos, but if you prefer something else, let me know. 

Finish/Polish Options?

A: Yes I have other finish options

The ring will come "Retro" style as shown in the pictures. This is my own personal finishing and polishing style. If you would like ultra polished or jet black "Black-Out", just let me know in your note to seller.

Do you offer Resizing-How much is it?

A: Yes, its always free. You just pay shipping.

I configure the ring to the precise size you give me. To reduce sizing errors, please refrain from using the 'popular' string method, please go to local jeweler and get your finger sized.

If you get your ring and its the wrong size or maybe after some time it just needs a little adjustment; no problem, all you need to do is message me, send it back and I'll happily resize it for FREE and return it to you ASAP. It only costs you shipping.

Q: Do I get the Coin Ring in the listing picture above?

A: You will get a brand new one.

With the exception of my custom pieces; your ring will be created from a brand new round. Once I obtain your information, I will use a brand new silver or gold round to create your ring just for you.

Q: How is it Made: Is it Magic?

A: My coin rings are made using a technique called -cold folding- Using lower temperatures to cause a vibrational state allowing the round be moved into a new shape. It is a magic of sorts.

This process takes precision and the perfect combination of heat and cooling to make the alloy ready for manipulation. Very delicate techniques are applied to craft the round into the ring while ensuring the preservation of the surface details. I have refined my method over hundreds of hours of practice. 

My pendents, custom gold nugget rings and broaches are made from using silver and/or gold solder to permanently attach the nugget, bell or clasp to ensure they will hold up for a lifetime of wear.
