The Embossing Co has a long history in the Toy business. Established in 1870, Albany NY. Not sure of the exact dates these were made but I did read that REX wood checkers were produced in the 1930's. This set is in the original box and one side of folded lid is missing. Some of the checkers show more wear than others but overall this set is in excellent condition.
