Gerbing XR-12 Hybrid 12v Heated Glove - XXXL
***** RiDE RECOMMENDED *****
The worlds warmest - and Into Gear have just what
you need when you need it. The hard armoured Gerbing XR-12 Hybrid is
slightly longer, dare I say Gauntlet length? Hybrid - because you have
the option of powering them independently from a pair of discreet ‘cuff
fit’ batteries with 3 power levels. Heating each finger, thumb, and the
back of your hand within seconds, the Microwire® heating system can be
powered from your bikes 12-volt battery and controlled by the latest 4
position Junior Controller. The maximum current draw is 2.2 amps / 27
watts. XR-12 is constructed from quality Drum Dyed (colour won’t run)
leather and features hard knuckle armour for added protection.
Waterproof & breathable thanks to the Hipora® liner keeping the weather
out and comfortably warm thanks to the thinsulate® thermal insulation on
the inside. (Leather itself is not waterproof and should be treated with
a waterproofing product – that’s why Into Gear gives you a FREE Nikwax
Glove Proofer with every pair of Gerbing Gloves). To secure the fit
XR-12 has adjustable wrist enclosures & a gel cushioned palm - for
protection. Gerbing are so confident in their products that they give a
lifetime warranty on the heating elements!
There is NO NEED to buy accessory leads - This is
ALL you need to Plug 'n' Play!! The optional Gerbing Hybrid Battery Pack
kit is all you need to power your Gerbing Hybrid Gloves independently
using the lithium-ion battery pack with built-in microprocessor
temperature controllers for each battery. Simply slip a battery into the
zipped pocket on the cuff of your hybrid glove, plug it in and go! To
give you an idea of the running times you can expect around 1hr on High,
2.5hrs on Medium or 4hrs on Low. Your actual run time will vary
depending on ambient temperature. Battery capacity decreases in very
cold weather, especially if the battery is not insulated, and is left
exposed to the elements. At less than 32 degrees Fahrenheit a battery
may produce only 80% of its capacity.
