Scroll down for more pictures.  This is a vintage alto saxophone made in Germany by the Hammerschmidt Company.  It is marked, "RR Daugherty Dayton Ohio DABICO".  Interesting and unique saxophone with full pearls and alternate keywork.  Rolled tone holes, G# Trill, High D# Trill, Forked Eb, and decorative braces.  Lots of interesting detail and engineering on this saxophone.  Dual octave vents on the body.  Original lacquer is around 80%.  It is in playing condition, but pads with plastic resonators are a mix of older and newer.  Corks and felts are also a mix.  There are minor repairs and dings.  This would make a great Winter Project for someone and with some work should turn out to be a great alto saxophone.  This is a cool and unique saxophone.  Most likely, you will be the only one in the band with one.  Older non-original case has wear, but is usable.
