For your consideration is a Peavey Valveking VK112 112 50 watt combo, in good cosmetic and working condition, with the included Peavey footswitch as seen in pics, for channel switching and boost.
The 1st of the two inputs needs to be replaced (easy do-it-yourself fix) but the 2nd input works just as it should.
The amp sounds absolutely killer, with shimmering cleans and a sweet, slightly compressed gain and drive channel. This is in our opinion, for the money, just about the best combo you can buy.
It does both clean and distortion tones exceptionally well, and is an incredibly versatile grab and go amp that can stay with any drummer and cut through a mix.
Compact yet huge sounding, this is as good a value as is out there!
Peavey ValveKing 112 Guitar Combo Amp
The Peavey ValveKing 112 is an all-tube guitar amp combining boutique features and hot-rodded tones with legendary Peavey reliability. Peavey ValveKing amps feature a patent-pending, variable Class A-A/B control called Texture, which allows sweepable selection between Class A and Class A/B power structures, as well as any combination of the two. With this exclusive feature, guitarists can coax virtually any tone from this tweaked-out amplifier. The amp's preamp and power sections are powered by 6L6GC and 12AX7 tubes, respectively, and drive specially voiced 12 inch ValveKing loudspeakers (112 and 212 versions only).
Additional standard features include two footswitchable channels with independent, three-band EQ and volume, plus a footswitchable gain/volume boost on the lead channel to provide extra volume for solos. ValveKing amps also feature global resonance, presence and reverb controls, and a buffered effects loop.
