Made with naturally renewable wool and vegetable dyes, these machine washable blankets pass strict standards of sustainability, leaving the smallest possible impact on our earth. A special treatment makes them softer with each washing, and the colors remain true. Whip-stitched edges.
Size: This blanket is a Pendleton Full Bed size (90"L x 80"W). So even on a Queen bed (which is 80" L x 60" W), this blanket will drape 10" off of each side and 10" off the foot of the bed. Many people prefer this blanket size for a Queen bed.
These blankets are made here in the USA by Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washington for LL Bean and featured in their catalog. Finally a 100% wool blanket that you can wash in an ordinary washing machine!
This blanket is a Brand New 100% authentic Pendleton factory blemished item, fresh from the factory. The blemish is a tiny speck in the nap of the blanket left from the factory weaving machines (shown with factory inspector's red tape to identify). These specks from weaving machinery can be removed with a bit of dish soap solution or Woolite if desired. Nothing to detract from blanket's appearance or function, it's a beautiful blanket.
