CARRIER M.G.

(AUST.)

INSTRUCTION BOOK

Perfect scanned copy.  183 pages scanned as High Resolution TIF images and then digitally cleaned page by page.  This Manual is the Australian version of the Universal Carrier Instruction Book and is more detailed and better Illustrated than its other Commonwealth equivalents. It is packed with invaluable data and contains many detailed photographs & diagrams. Manual printed in July 1943 and in many places it also refers to the differences in earlier models in relation to improvements incorporated to the carriers since 1938. In these cases it provides details of both the earlier and current (1943) models. This book details the operation and crew maintenance of the vehicles. See below for detailed contents. Manual prepared by the Directorate of Armoured Fighting Vehicles Production, Ministry of Munitions by the Authority of the Headquarters, Allied Land Forces, South West Pacific Area and printed by GW Green & Sons in Melbourne. Also included on the CD is an PDF version of the manual for easy browsing (Adobe Reader 7.0 supplied on the CD). Comes in a nicely printed Jewel case. See my other auctions for more vintage military vehicle manuals.
